The Flash cup is great because once you add a spork you have every thing you need. I use it for 2 people. I also like that the inside of the cup is marked at 2 cups. with is what most freeze dried foods I carry ask for, so it makes cooking easy. The bottom protector also triples as a bowl or cup, it is also marked to measure 1 cup. Perfect size for coffee or oatmeal, and you won't have to carry any other mess kit. It is almost the total package; just add a eating untensil.

The flash heat-indication cup is a great addition to my backpack. Having the heat indicator so easy to see is a plus because I can tell from a distance when my water is ready. So i don't have to stand over it and wait , not that I have to wait long anyway. The clear protector on the bottom also doubles as a cup or bowl. It also has a utensil holder on the side so i don't have to dig around in my pack for it.
